The contract concerns the supply of Steel Line Pipe for the IGB Project.
The IGB pipeline shall transport natural gas from Komotini (Greece) to Stara Zagora (Bulgaria).
Length: approx. 170 km.
Diameter: 28” (subject to confirmation).
Working Pressure: 75 barg.
Service: Sweet natural gas.
Design Code: EN 1594 and applicable national law.
The Steel Line Pipe shall be manufactured and tested in accordance with Contracting Entity’s project specifications which will be issued with the invitation to tender to the qualified Candidates.

Supply of steel line pipe with the following characteristics:Length: Approximately 170 000 m plus provision for spare.Diameter: 28” (subject to confirmation).Manufacturing method: SAWL or SAWH, as the specific type and quantities will be specified at a later stage based on the technical design with guarantees for high quality, safety and reliability.Line Pipe Grade: X-65 equivalent (subject to confirmation).Wall Thicknesses: 8.74mm & higher (final wall thicknesses are subject to ongoing design).Coating: 3 Layer PE external anti-corrosion coating (or extruded external coating) and internal epoxy flow coating to improve flow properties & corrosion protection during storage. The value for internal surface roughness, as used in the hydraulic model of the line pipe will initially be assumed to be 0,010mm (final specifications shall be issued with the invitation to tender to the qualified Candidates).Individual pipes shall have a standard length between 12 m & 18 m (the actual standard length of the supply shall be decided by the ongoing design) with beveled ends & protective caps (final specifications shall be issued with the invitation to tender to the qualified Candidates).The above information is preliminary and is subject to the ongoing development of design.50 000 000,00
